Steps to Develop a BIP Report
Navigation:
1. Login to fusion instance -> Click on Home icon -> Click on "Tools". Click on Reports and Analytics
2. Click on Browse Catalog
3. Select a location where you want to save file. Click on "New" icon and then "Data Model".
5. Select "SQL Query"
7. Fill mandatory fields mark with '*'
8. Write SQL logic, Press "ok"
9. Save on path.
Create Report:
12. Navigate to New, Click on "Report"
13. Cancel default window
14. Link data model
15. Click on "Generate"
16. Give template name i.e. Output.
17. Save Report
18. Select output type and default type as navigated below. Select and Save.
19. Uncheck if report executed manually or Report having Parameters. Click on Property and uncheck Auto Run.
20. Click on View Report to see the output.
21. Report will execute automatic if Auto Run is checked.
22. Output
23. Export output by clicking on Setup icon and select export. You can export output in the format given in list.
